Introduction of Sabah
Sabah, the second largest state in Malaysia, is situated at the northern part of the island of Borneo, the third largest island in the world. It covers an area of 72,500 sq. kilometers with a coastline of 1,440 kilometres long washed by the South China Sea in the West, the Sulu Sea in the Northeast and the Celebes Sea in the East. Known to the world as "THE LAND BELOW THE WIND", Sabah is rich not only in natural beauty and resources, but also in the cultural heritage of its people.
Clothing Traditions
Kadazandusun traditional costume is rich with unique characteristics. This is because,
it is different from one place to another place.
Each Kadazandusun ethnic have differences in clothing tredisinya.
For example, the traditional dress for the Dusun Bundu Ranau and Tambunan is Liwan in different ethnic attire for Lotud in Tuaran and Kota Marudu Kimaragang.
Each ethnic Kadazandusun has its own uniqueness.
This traditional clothing usually worn during festive seasons such as Harvest Festival and special ceremonies such as weddings.
Often the girl of Kadazandusun will showcase these kinds of attire when there is Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan in Sabah state.

Introduction
To have a total of 32 indigenous ethnic tribes in the state, it
is expected, we can see
various kinds of clothes according to tribal traditions.
Most of them have maintained the pattern and color of the original costume.
A very popular color is black.
Color is used as in the past, the natives of Sabah rely on some kind of vegetable crops to be fluid and dye fabric.
